A 5-Star Hidden Gem in Roscommon! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Don't let the modest street-level entrance fool you—once you walk up the stairs, you are in for an absolute treat. This place is a true hidden gem that the current reviews don't fully do justice.
From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The young lady at reception was incredibly pleasant, well-presented, and welcomed me with a warm smile. As soon as I sat down, a bottle of cold water was brought to the table—a thoughtful touch that was exactly what I needed.
The food was outstanding from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised with complimentary, delicious poppadoms to start.
If you want to try something really special, here is exactly what to order:
The Starter: The Prawn Tempura was absolutely delicious and the portion size was much larger than I expected.
The Main: The King Prawn Malvani paired with Plain Naan was spectacular.
The curry sauce was so incredibly flavorful that I couldn't bear to let a single drop go to waste, prompting me to quickly order a side of Boiled Rice just to soak it all up!
I have eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years, but this experience truly stood out. The entire bill came to just over €30, which is fantastic value for this level of quality.
Look out for the sign on the street, head upstairs, and treat yourself to a five-star dining experience!

Wonderful gem of a restaurant. It’s Bring Your Own Bottle if you want alcohol. Totally worth it as the food is superb. I had chicken korai with pilau rice and tarka dhal. Chicken was tender which was the important part. Great service. Ideal for small kids too, they have a kids menu with burgers etc but my two loved the Butter Chicken and Chicken Korma. Absolutely recommend.
Thank you very much for your feedback Martin 😊. …
We were on a short stay in Roscommon and ate at this restaurant twice it was so good! The staff are so welcoming, friendly, very professional and efficient. Great attention to detail like lovely warmed plates and complimentary poppadums with 3 dips which is unusual to get now in restaurants as usually you would need to pay for these. The menu is very reasonably priced. You can bring your own wine and beer and there is no corkage charge which is a great plus. The food is absolutely amazing and the best we've ever had. The first night we had Aloo Tikki for starter. For mains Goan fish curry which was fabulous and the addition of the curry leaves really made it taste so authentic and southern Indian. Also we had Bombay Aloo and Paneer Chilli Masala we also had a Kashmiri Naan which I've never seen on a menu before and it was lovely as was the pillau rice which was a very generous portion and truly the best pillau rice we've ever had. The second night we had the Chef Meat Platter to share for starters. For mains we shared the Zhinga Zafrani which was amazing. And we had sides of Palak Paneer and Tarka Dal and pillau rice and a Chapati all very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and service. Special compliments to the Chef as the food is a credit to you, keep up the good work. We look forward to visiting this restaurant again when in Roscommon just wish you had a branch in Dublin!
